Howdy ya'all!

I am new to Crohn's and not handling it very well at all. Being 50 years old, I am kind of set in my ways and adjusting is being a pain in my ass .. literally! LOL

Anyway .. I figured that since my phone is smarter than I am .. I might need to use it to help me keep track of my food and health so I can try to figure out what I can and can't eat. Maybe track my medications and all that other crap as well.

So, my question .. What do you track and what do you use to track it?

I am not sure what apps are available As far as a food diary, I put down what I eat every meal and how often I go to the bathroom that day.

The phone is a good tool to keep your food diary and prescriptions. Good choice.

I'm 55 and still memorize my food diary, but when I have a bunch of prescriptions I have to map them out on a spreadsheet.

For Food with my experience fruit and vegi diet is a go to for my diet best to do is eat 3 times a day and mark your breakfast lunch and dinner during them times there is many ways to mark what you eat you just got to find what works for you the most

I like using old fashioned pen and paper for my food diary, but the phone is much handier for counting/recording toilet visits. I tend to note stuff down on my phone near the time then write it up at the end of the day, then I've gone back with a highlighter to emphasise particularly good or bad days, so hopefully I can easily see if something is/isn't working.

At 50, I have to map my life on the computer! I'd be lost if it weren't for my Outlook!

I guess since I live on my laptop .. I can create something to do the job. Wish I was a better coder than I am, maybe I can create an app or something?
