I was just wondering who on here as been told not to eat wheat or gluten? or what kind of diet you are on.

I am just concerned if is really necessary because that is what i am having the most trouble with because wheat is in freakin' everything.

I've been experimenting with this, just to see if it is wheat gluten that's bothering me (doctor didn't think so, but I figured it wasn't going to hurt).

Been doing it for about three weeks now, and it really didn't change things. Now I figure simply incorporating other grains into my diet just for variety's sake is probably a good thing anyways. I'll have wheat sparingly.

I haven't been eating Gluten or wheat I believe for 2 weeks roughly. I'm on the Special Carb Diet. It's pretty exclusive, but it makes me feel so much better than when I was eating my poor diet before. Even if you don't do the SCD diet, eat a lot of seafood, it's easier to digest. If you are interested in the SCD check out the book in my signature.

I was never told to stay away from wheat or gluten. Just told to avoid spicy, greasy, and fried foods. I also stay away from too much caffeine, sugar, and salt. I think those are just bad for you in excess anyway. I don't eat anything too high fiber as it upsets my insides. Also, try to cook veggies till almost mushy so they don't irritate either. Other than that no special diet, just avoiding the things I know upset me.
