Difference between imuran and 6 mp

hey all,

Is 6 mp the same thing as aza? Also, is imuran different than the 6 mp and aza. Sorry for my ignorance but I am new to these drugs. Have only been on enbrel, humira, prednisone and asacol but feel like I now need the heavy artillary for the inflammation in my jejunum. Thanks so much for any advice.

Aza and imuran are the same drug.

6mp is more breakdown that aza. Eg the body converts aza to 6mp

yes pretty similar yet not exactly the same. I once failed Imuran when purinethol was out of stock for a year. But I always had success with Purinethol.
