Wanna give some background on myself since I'm new, currently on Humira. Was just diagnosed with Crohn's at the beginning of the year. Was doing one injection every two weeks. It was working up to about a few months ago flawlessly, just came off 2 months of Budesonide. Which helped tremendously but can't stay on steroids long. Now I'm going to one injection every week for Humira.
So my question is this, what are the antibiotics regimen? Didn't know it was even a treatment for crohn's until me and my doctor talked about the other day. Anyone try it and how does it work in the body? I go back in about 2 months to see if the Humira will pick back up. Needless to say my options are open and my doctor is pretty much leaving it up to me on where to go. He threw out options so I could research some. He even mentioned a new treatment that's not on the market yet but it's in phase 3 of research. Said he could try to get me in there but there is no guarantee I will qualify for that but it did sound promising.
