I'm not exactly sure if this is what difficulty urinating means. For about the past 6 months, there are some times when I can't start urinating right away. Usually, I get to the bathroom and it just immediately comes out. But now, I feel the urge to go, and it can take 30 seconds of waiting in a small bit of discomfort before it starts.
I didn't mention this to my GI when I went in. I didn't really think about it and I never really put much thought into it. I just thought it was some psychological think that my brain wasn't letting me pee right away. I just thought about it this morning how maybe it's related to my crohns. Connecting dots about how I, with my recent flare, I get cramps sometimes when I have to pee. I wake up every night over the last couple weeks with the urge to pee, although I don't go much and used to sleep all night.
I had a fever and my GI thinks there could be another fistula or abscess. So I'm wondering if inflammation is putting pressure on my bladder, giving me greater urgency?
Is this what 'difficulty urinating' means? Should I be concerned? I go in for a CT scan on my abdomen and pelvis on Monday. Hopefully it answers everything for me.
