Hey everyone. My doctor recently told me to try diflucan since there are some promising results with it being used to treat IBD. I had a question for anyone who has been on fluconazole...actually 2 questions.

1) What were your symtoms and did it help?

2) I took it for a week, 100mg daily and didnt notice a difference. This time around the doctor told me that for any real effect I would need tip combine an anti-yeast diet with 200mg fluconazole daily for a month...I can unbeaten a higher dose being more effective but could the 100mg have been entirely useless while the 200mg works?

3) I know I know I said only 2! Any tips for me while I am on it? Things to look for (stools, body changes, etc.)?

Thanks!

Huh, this one is new to me. I've been diflucan multiple times for reasons unrelated to Crohn's, but I've never heard of it being used as a treatment for IBD. I can't help much I'm afraid. I am curious though, so could you keep us updated on your progress.
