Hi all,

I'm having a problem here. Just wanted to know did any of you all have gone thru this before. It's been 2 weeks I have been stopped from Prednisolone by my doctor. Sudddenly now, I'm facing digestive problems. I have no appetite to eat. And the worse is, sometimes I will vomit out what I have eaten. I have regular pains now. Earlier, all this was not there when i was taking preds. Do you think it affects back once I stop? I'm scared I might be getting back the symptoms of my Crohns. Just had the best of the days in 2 months after suffering 3 years and now it had started back. Hope to get some advise or reviews from you all if you have had this problem before. thanks a lot....Really depressed..

Regards,
Lily

Yes, very common. I don't know why GI's don't tell us to expect this once we go off or start to taper. They may not want to contribute psychosomatically.

I agree, but what's messed up is that anyone prone to psychosomatic responses will go haywire after reading the medical paperwork that always accompanies our meds they hand out...."This drug has the following 731 possible side effects, and is used to treat these 4 afflictions, your doctor has deemed the benefits to outweigh the risks...". I file these papers.
