Hi anyone in the UK claim Disability Living Allowance ?

I have been reading up on it with a view to maing a claim - I dont think I can hold my job down much longer, but I believe you have to jump through hoops - difficult when you have good days and bad days... are you claiming? Planning on making a claim? Be interested to hear how it goes..

I have considered making a claim for either DLA or Income Support recently, purely because I only have the stamina at present to work a few hours and week and even that is taxing enough. I'm worried about how much longer I will last!

I read a really useful guide to making a claim and having Crohn's or UC on the NACC website. Here is a link - http://www.nacc.org.uk/content/services/dla.asp.

They have a lot of useful tips for example in relation to the good/bad day thing they say it may be better to describe them as bad days and better days, as good days implies nothing was wrong. It's also about needing help to do certain tasks as opposed to actually taking up said help, which I found was interesting.
