After you have a stricture moved surgically, is it most likely that you will have worse symptoms afterward? Because i've heard of people feeling good for a little while and then they feel reallly bad and then have to go in for a resection.

I have had two resections and my first one was pain free for 7 years but on a low dose of Entocort, however my second one was never good ever since that was 2003. Sometimes it is scar tissue, spastic colon is very common, Diahreah common, and depends on where the resection was. It can come back and most likely will, as surgery is not a fix all , no cure. The more surgeries usually the faster it comes back. Not everyone is the same, but alot of people have relief for years. The main thing is you always have to be on something, sooner or later, it will come back.
