Hello! Today I had my endoscopy, quite an interesting experience, I have to say...Lol. I was knocked out, and don't remember any of the procedure! Or a lot of stuff I said in the recovery room...:)

Anyways, everything was clean, I had no ulcers or tumors or hernias, but the doctor is suspecting Celiac disease. :( They took biopsies of the beginning of my small intestine, and if it comes back positive, I'll know that's what I have going on.

Thanks for following up on my story everyone who's been reading my posts!

That is good news! If they are suspecting from visual camera test, and confirmed with biopsies, going gluten free should make you feel so much better and hopefully really quickly .

Good luck! When will you get results? X

Thank you!
And I'll get them back in around seven days at the most. :)

Hi again Everly! I hope you do get some definitive answers. Keep us posted on what the biopsy results say. The good news is that if it is Celiac (without anything else going on), then you can treat it with diet alone and you should feel very well once you cut out gluten from your diet. Hopefully it is just Celiac and nothing more. However, you should be aware that sometimes things like Crohn's can occur with Celiac - so, if you're diagnosed with Celiac but still feel unwell even after cutting out gluten, make sure to stay on top of your doctors and request more tests. I hope it's not that though, it would be great if you could avoid taking medications. Please do keep us posted! Fingers crossed for you - good luck!
