I'm a military brat, so I grew up moving around a lot. I've had several different doctors. It seems like there is not really a standard for treating Crohn's. You go to a different place and a doctor might have a different idea what the right treatment/dosage is the right approach. Some places I went my GI would follow up on me and I would have regular visits. Other places I would only get to see the GI if I couldn't stay out of the emergency room. Another place I went the only time I saw my GI doctor was when I had to sign papers, the rest of the time I saw a nurse (Not complaining about that though, they were very knowledgeable, moreso than some doctors I've had). I think if I find another doctor I like I'm going to move there for good! :)

I hear you on that one Wiles!

I'm on my 3rd doc in a year's time and each one has had a different level of caring. I like the guy I've got now. The first guy I saw didn't really seem to give a flip, which is really scary.
