I've noticed that when my stomach starts to give me bother I get itchy spots on my scalp and it's driving me insane! Does anyone else have the same problem and have any helpful advice. It's so itchy it's keeping me awake at night!

Yes! Sometimes my legs get itchy as well. I use calendula cream on my legs. For my head sometimes a tea tree oil shampoo or a eucalyptus/menthol shampoo helps. Try to avoid super hot water though because that will dry out your scalp which means more itching!

I get that too, I have for years. It will itch in patches and get really nasty if i scratch at it. I second the tea tree thing as it does seem to help a little

that was my first symptom after taking antibiotics which likely caused my IBD. still losing hair 6 years later. both itchy scalp and hair loss.

I had a pretty bad case this winter/spring with this same issue. all around my hair line and it was going down even on my forehead and some small patches on my face, itchy and so hard to resist scratching. have been having this for years, always on and off. I Tried a natural tea three oli shampoo amongst other natural things, no luck. I asked my GP and she prescribed cortisone cream which helped but for only a few days and symptoms returned as bad. I was really concerned my skin on my forehead woudl permenantly be damaged. Finally I bought NIZORAL shampoo at the pharmacy:

I had forgotten I had taken it many years ago. So after a few weeks of this shampoo 3 x a week, my issue is COMPLETELY GONE!!! and my skin has come back to 100% normal. must keep shampoo at least 5 minutes in the shower. maintenance of ''remission'' is using it once a week. I am so happy. Nizoral kills fungus. that was my issue, which is called seborrheic dermatitis:

this may well be what some of you have.
