Does anyone have experience with stoma reversal?

Mine is coming up on Sep 28th and I am very nervous. There is very little information out there for people getting reversals, let alone people who got their stomas because of Crohns. My surgeon didn’t really have any advice, but I think he mostly deals with people whose surgeries were a result of cancer. I was hopping those of you who had temporaries could give me some advice and let me know how it went for you.

Did your symptoms come back after the reversal?

How long did it take you to recover after surgery?

Were there any food restrictions or things that you ended up having to avoid after the reversal?

Was it worth it?
