Does medication help with food intolerances?

It's hard for me to digest a lot of foods. I'm just wondering if anyone had food intolerances before being diagnosed, did medication make things easier for you or did you still have to watch what you eat? I was on a Paleo/scd diet and it kinda works, but it's hard. I want to be able to eat like a normal person. People are always commenting on how skinny I am.

If your inability to eat certain foods is due to your active disease then when you are in remission, which meds help you achieve, it is possible that you will be able to expand your menu to include foods that you are unable to eat during a flare.

If the food intoletances are due to something other than your CD, such as food allergies, fructose intolerance etc then meds for CD will be unable to help with that.

ok, makes sense, thanks Clash!

Yes! I am on Remicade and used to be intolerant to just about everything. Now, I can eat whatever I want. I did spend time sampling, but am back on eating clean. No processed food passes my lips. Well, I do have a cookie once in awhile.
