things I like about studies
-I like how almost every study is positive and helps crohn's disease, I suggest they stop doing the actual studies themselves because they all turn out positive anyway
-I like how every nutritional study uses a beginning CDAI score of 150 or less, nothing says remission more than using people who are already in remission
-I like how they pit every herb or nutrional drink against mesalamine, nothing says your product works more than putting it up against something that has shown no improvement in some studies to begin with
-I like studies that just bunch up UC and crohn's disease, call it IBD and really don't care about the fact the diseases are completely different, no one actually reads that it helped only for UC in the small print
It's really hard to trust studies related to crohn's disease, unless there is clinical evidence of improvement and unless it has been shown more than a few times, I don't take most studies very serious, CDAI scores are really not that reliabe, especially not if they start with a base lower than 150, it's quite normal that people go into spontaneous remission for whatever reason, this would happen in double blind studies too.
