My Doctor is filling out paperwork to apply for Humira. I had an attack about 3 weeks after a colonoscopy that was a wellness check that turned into evidence of Crohn's. I had not had major pain in over 2 years. I had some minor stomach aches that would be gone in a short time period and on again off again lose stool over 2 years. I wonder why we have gone from little to no symptoms to a major attack that did require a trip to emergency. A C.T. Scan does show it is in my small intestines and we are not trying the immunomodulators or the ASA-5, we are going straight to Biologicals ( humira). Any thoughts
Thanks

Have you not had any medication at all? I wonder if it should have been treated a lot earlier. I wonder if there was damage going on in your body that you weren't aware of. Keep us informed of how you are doing.

If the evidence shows it to be stricturing crohns I would say this is a good choice. I am partial though as the biologics weren't an option for me until after 6 surgeries! Hope it takes care of it all for you.
