Dr. Questions.....NJ reccomendation

Can anyone reccomend a GI Dr in Central NJ/

I am in so much pain and pooping out mucus every hour. My doc is on vacation and has no appts till October 24th.

In your opinion would his covering physician perscribe a new rx without putting me through a procedure?

Are you looking for a new/different rx or a refill? I would think that the covering physician should be able/willing to refill prescriptions - not sure about any new drugs - ALTHOUGH they might prescribe something such as prednisone if needed....

Worst case, go to an ER for help.....
