Well after struggling since my reversal back in march. Well after a lot o test and a lot of talking to my surgeon. We decided to do a end ileostomy. Surgery Is on February 17 2015, I didn't get a chance to ask him but I was wondering if he could do it laparoscopy? Or since I had surgeries before would he have to do it the normal way?

Definitely ask. What other surgeries have you had? Mine was done open since I have a gut full of adhesions from multiple prior abdominal surgeries. There are several factors that go into making the decision to attempt doing it laparoscopically or going straight to an open surgery, but under the best circumstances (healthy patient with no prior surgeries), it can be done laparoscopically. Each patient's situation is unique, so you will definitely need to ask your surgeon.
