I'm currently doing an herbal remedy to rid the body of intestinal parasites. I want to do an enema to help flush the critters out, but I haven't done one before and I have Crohn's. Does anyone have experience with this? Do you use tap water or distilled water and how much water is safe to put in? Any advice from people who have done this is appreciated!!

I haven't been tested, but during this cleanse, I have seen some things come out....(little things that look like white rice and a long noodle thing...maybe tapeworm?)

Still wondering about the enema. I'd like to do one to flush the rest out but I don't know how. I have a enema bag that I bought but I'm not sure how much water to use, what temp, and if it should be distilled/spring water or what? Anyone with experience with this? I have extensive crohn's in the small intestine.

-body temperature or a couple of degrees higher,
-boiler or distilled water.
-let the water enter via gravity, the more you let in the harder to hold it, so experiment and stay close to the toilet......
-retention enemas (ones you hold in to absorb whatever) are smaller, cleansing/flushing enemas are larger......

Enema will only get to the last few feet of your intestine,
Changing your diet and taking parasite herbs might help more?
An enema can be very irritating to the colon, go for something soothing rather than cleansing to begin.

google it, but remember, just because it is on the internet doesn't mean it's true
