Well I've had swollen lymph nodes near my groin now for over a year. I've had numerous blood tests and several ct scans. My gastro always told me not to worry, they were small and soft. Then last week, out of nowhere he decides he wants me to see an oncologist " just to make sure" and be on the "safe side". Now I'm extremely anxious, and my lymph nodes are now more sore than ever. Kindve ironic. My doc thinks they're swollen because my crohns has taken a downward turn, with the last ct scan showing significant inflammation. I start humira next week. Hopefully that'll help my crohns and those darn lymph nodes! I'm just praying it's not something more..sinister. Anyone go through something similar??

Only with the glands under my jaw but I'm usually sick with some sort of cold/infection. Its good that you're being sent to a specialist anyway just in case you know? Hopefully the cause will be found and you'll get it treated right away. If it is Crohn's related then hopefully the Humira will do the trick. I know it worked well for my symptoms and sore joints from arthritis. Keep us posted!
