I started entocort a week ago, 9mg and am having these sinus feeling headaches. Anyone else have this and did it go away with time?

Hi Kailyn, welcome to the forum from a fellow Wisconsinite! As Rebecca said, I experienced headaches while on Entocort and I ended up being prescribed 25mg Amitriptyline to make them stop. My headaches did not go away on their own, I waited 2 or 3 weeks and they only seemed to get worse. I was experiencing these headaches, and yes they did seem to be sinus headaches, from the moment I woke up until the moment I went to sleep every day for those few weeks. If your headaches don't go away soon, please call your doctor and see if they can give you something like Amitriptyline. I've been taking Amitrip for about 3 months now and my headaches have almost completely stopped, now I only get the occassional headache. There are others on the forum, such as Astra101 (Joan) who also swear by Amitriptyline. Google it, it's got few/low side effects (I haven't experienced any side effects from it) and it works well. It has added benefits such as helping me sleep at night, plus it supposedly calms the guts (I haven't noticed a difference there myself). Good luck, and welcome!

Hi Kailyn
and welcome

Yup, huge Amitriptyline fan!
No side effects, 25mg is very low, and more importantly, no more headaches!
And a massive plus, it knocks me out at bedtime, no more sleepless nights!
Even bigger plus, it kept me calm on Pred, that's gotta be worth something in my book! Calm on Pred? Yeah, honestly!
Ask your doc for some, you've got nowt to lose, but everything to gain
lotsa luv
Joan xxx
