Entocort Taper Side Effects?

Question for anyone that has tapered on Entocort: what side effects did you experience? I've been on Entocort for 6 months and it's worked really well for me, the only side effect I've had is heart palpitations which are annoying. I am tapering down to 2 pills a day (and my doctor plans to keep me on that dose until it no longer works). I started that on Friday and since then I've had headaches and absolutely zero energy. I am just putting it together today that it is probably the Entocort taper. Any idea as to how long it will be before I get back to "normal"?

One more thing: I feel like I've had 10 cups of coffee. That actually bothers me the worst.

I get the coffee overload issues too. And the heart.

In general I am.pretty frustrated with all my meds right now.

When I tapered from Entocort I experienced moderate-severe headaches, and felt jittery/shaky a lot of the time. It wasn't fun.

Stelarjess - how long did it take for those to go away?

I would say after about a week or two off the Entocort I started feeling a lot better, and the symptoms went away. I just started another 8 week course today. So not looking forward to tapering again!

I have tried tapering four times and still not managed it. Pain and flares return so that I can hardly walk.
