Entocort

Today gi put me on entocort even though it did not help last time. Could it help possibly this time

It may. Some people only respond to IV steroids as opposed to entocort or pred. He should be allowing for regular blood work to determine if your inflammatory markers are coming down. If they aren't or if you remain in a flare symptoms wise then I would definitely bring it up with the GI.

It may help, there are many factors. Maybe the disease moved to a new location, maybe it wasn't enough time. who knows. Hope it helps.

Thanks for replies. Yesterday after scope, she said it still mild but more ulcers on ileum compared from 2 years ago. Did a blood test for something to see if I can take imuran. We discussed this pill before and I told her I didn't,think really want to take it and try a short course of pred but I quess she don't want me to start pred. I hope it works this time, don't,then want imuran but I think I will have to if entocort does not work.
