Okay, I post my question in this new threat again so it can't be overlooked:

Does someone know if extreme nausea (which I'm having again) can result from TI inflammation or is it always related to gastritis/inflammation in the jejunum?

Thanks!

I'm afraid that I don't know. But, one thing I do know is that if I happen to be in a really bad flare I constantly do have nausea. I'm sorry to hear you're suffering with this discomfort and hope that things can change for you soon. Take care.

Charlotte I had moderate inflammation in the lower left side of the large intestine and the nausea was horrendous, I could hardly speak or move because of it. And I lost alot of weight.
Can you get anti-nausea medication? I take an anti-histamine preparation on an as-need basis, it really helps.

I think anything that slows down your digestion can cause nausea. If it is increasing, especially if you are seeing other symptoms, it may mean that there are changes occurring. If you end up with vomiting and bloating please get it checked out.

Thank you for your advice and experience! I do take anti nausea medication but rarely and I already lost some weight (when I look in the mirror or put my jeans on I notice a difference) but as I take pred now as well, the scales show the same weight. So there should be some improvement in the next few weeks because I don't want to feel weak and underweight again.
Shamrock15, I've been thinking about the slowing down aspect as well: As my terminal ileum is inflamed and sometimes really sticks out and is not only painful but also warm and hard I could imagine it being very tight inside so the food can only pass through very slowly so that might be a reason why I feel full after a few bites of anything or some sips of tea and so on. This sensation does not seem to be strong enough to cause some blockage etc., fortunately. But it is strong enough to cause constant nausea and loss of appetite.

If you have an appointment with your GI soon, please make a point of mentioning it. The fact that it sticks out strongly suggests that something is seriously slowed. Do you get a sound or do you pass gas soon after the bump disappears? Those are pretty much tell tales signs of a partial obstruction. Please proceed with caution on it.
