So I have been taking Azathioprine for 5 weeks now, my labs are normal but for the past week and a half I have been Extremely exhausted everyday... not hours after waking up from a good night sleep I will feel completely drained... Just moving around feels difficult and whilst standing I am usually leaning up against something because I just feel like i might fall backwards or to the ground at any moment 
... before starting the Azathioprine I was feeling great and happy and full of energy... I'm so frustrated and depressed I feel like I can't do my job during the day.
I wish my fiance or someone understood how I feel... I've been trying to explain to him how exhausted I feel but his responses usually range from " What about taking a 5hour energy" or " You seemed fine this morning" ... I don't know what I can say to help him understand that its not as simple as taking an energy drink... :\ ... Is this normal for Azathioprine?? I am waiting for my doctor's office to get back to me on what I should do... should I go off the meds or maybe stick it out? anyone advice would be helpful
