Hey guys, I have a question regarding a fever and I'm not sure if it's related or not. Over the last week(ish) I have been holding a fever of around 99-100. I did a little bit of quick searching online and it said that it can be a symptom of a crohns flare. My question is, if that is the only thing that has changed would it be unrelated to crohns? I don't feel any different physically, BM frequency/consistency hasn't changed, etc. Nothing else has changed, except for the small fever. I'm working full time right now and biking 10km round trip for work so physically I'm not feeling anything unusual.

Any ideas on this?
Thanks

I should also add that I do not get the chill feeling than sweats like a typical fever. My fiancee however says I feel very warm when giving her a kiss and says I "radiate heat" lol.

For awhile I too had fevers in the evenings. For a bit, they'd be constant every night. But, they've stopped now that my flare has gone down somewhat. I still get pretty warm at times though.

Many doctors start considering a temp a fever if it's above 100.4...so 100.5+. I too get low grade fevers sporadically (100-101). Unless there r other symptoms I wouldn't worry too much. But certainly if other symptoms arise I'd get checked out. It could be the start of something

Okay thanks. I didn't think it was anything to get worried about but I just wanted to make sure. I read it could even be from not drinking enough during the day and were having mid 90's weather right now so its very hot out.

Exercise on top of warm weather could be a factor. I know when I had flares I always showed signs of having the flu. I'd have a fever but would also have other symptoms as well. Everyone is different though. If it doesn't get better soon though I still think getting it checked out would be a good idea.
