Been an eventful couple of weeks results from an ultrasound showed fatty liver disease and a trip to the migraine clinic in central London confirmed that I either still have my cluster headaches or something similar called hemacrania continua. With regards to the fatty liver have something that seems to be connected to it toxoplasmosis passed on most likely from my cat who is at rest now trying to treat that and the fatty liver myself with improved diet and lot's of raw garlic thyme and good spices such as turmeric vegetarian now quorn is rather nice and cold water fish. The headaches are being treated with very double approach first a course of verapamil if that works then it's definitely clusters if not a coyrse of indomethacin if that works then it's hemacrania just finally having some confirmed diagnosis makes things a bit easier to control so before long I hope my gait will become a steady stride and in a certain direction :) hope all you old crohnies are ok

Blood tests tomorrow related to the fatty liver think i'm gonna ask for the liver enzyme tests and to be reffered to the gastro or a liver specialist been reffered to the top nuero hospital in london queens square which specialise in cluster type headaches so i'm pleased how things are going now also have a 24 hour bp monitor fitting next monday

Rearranged for Monday morning when I'm having a 24 hour bp monitor fitted also won't get test results for about a week or so will let you know as soon as I get them

Back home with the bp monitor fitted had the blood test's also have to bring the monitor back in the morning and will get the results from both by next week

Hope the monitor wasn't too uncomfortable. We may all be different when it comes to this disease, but we all wait for test results. I like the phrase 'hurry up and wait',very appropriate.

not really so bad slept quite comfortable with it and slept for a good bit lastnight 9ish hour's not sure what's going on for me except for the moment i'm not so certian it's bowel related so much as since i improved my diet hardly have a loose stool and no blood for quite a while.Still have the rigid abdomen been told i have fatty liver high blood pressure a cross of cluster headaches and more recently diagnosed with hemacrania continua also mention of possible cerebellar issues gait and tremor all seems neurological to me though not sure about the fatty liver.

to say I'm finding it difficult to cope is an understatement some of my symptoms have been going on for such a long time for many years even with no diagnosis i was just about able to handle it.In more recent years though i find that I've lost control of the cluster headaches and the abdominal distension and have a bunch of other symptoms finding it hard to be around family and friends as to them how I'm feeling internally is invisible to them and the aqusations of dwelling on stuff not just from them but from gps and specialists to and trying to get my point across is digging me deeper into a hole starting to feel a little bit trapped by it all i know there's something not right with my abdomen it's not normal to pass out for no reason having never fainted or passed out before and to come round how ever long after with what resembles a 9 month pregnant lady been stuck with the ibs label when i think it was most likely to do with past drinking habits could of been liver related as it happened shortly after quitting from what I can only describe as alcohol poisoning all these years later i suddenly get diagnosed with nafld and may have some kind of cerebellar issues going on tired of gp visits only to walk out with little in the way of answers not sure where to turn.

Bp monitor results came in and diagnosed with stage two high bp have to go into gp next week with a sample and to get an ecg sorted and talk about treatment

Funny thing is though my diet is having some good effects maintaining a good weight bowels are working fine no loose stools or blood my abdomen is still distended not bloated there's a difference and still feels rigid and difficult to breath though i seem to have been resigned to not uttering a word relating to it dont think it's ibs or ibd.
