I finally saw the new GI doc and she reviewed all of my old test results. The colonoscopy that I had done last year when everything just started showed inflammation and some antibodies are off. My old doctor told me everything was normal. She ordered tons of bloodwork to check for some inflammatory markers and rare autoimmune diseases. Depending on those results, she may repeat the colonoscopy, do a camera and a CT angiogram. Until then though she gave me Percocet 10-650 and Zofran.
I have a question though. I normally always have diarrhea (3-7) times a day and it is pure water. Imodium and Lomotil doesnt stop it but I took the Percocet last night and I havent had any bowel movement now in over 24 hours. Is this normal with Percocet?
Thanks for listening and your guidance on this.

Yes, that is one of the 'side effects' of that drug. Alot of pain drugs will slow down your system. And thank goodness for those of us with the big D.

Although not used daily long term for assistance in diarrea management due to dependence factors.

Let us know how it goes with the new GI! I think it sounds like she cares and wants to get you sorted out!
