My beautiful funny gorgeous daughter just went for a poo herself this evening. This is the first time this has every happened. No screaming, no crying - I am so happy. :thumleft:

That's great news! If you don't mind me asking, what was causing her pain to go to the bathroom?

Happy Day good luck for more of them, but she shouldn't have been going through that sort of pain surely?

Dusty: I want to adopt those penguins and have them dance along side me every day ! LOL

Lucy's chrons is mainly perianal, so she has had constant fissures that havn't responded to surgery or antibiotics . So we are 5 weeks into the 6 MP and 2 months into the prednisone (which we are currently tapering and due to finish in about 4 weeks) so I imagine it is the prednisone as the 6 MP probably hasnt take fully effect yet. And guess what she did the same thing today ... this is a really good week in our house. Lets hope it lasts.

You are right it is only on a chrons forum that we celebrate poo. But funily enough I was speaking to my boss today and he enquired about Lucy and I ended up telling about last nights poo and after he was looking at me with a shocked look on his face that I realised you really have to know what chrons does before you can understand the elation at a pain free poo!
