Hello everyone I do not post often but I enjoy reading all the posts and this forum is extremely helpful to me!
I thought I would share some success that I have found for my perianal disease. I have had so much trouble with that area down there, I have numerous skin tags, fissures that come and go and rashes, yeast and lots of inflamed skin down there inside and out. Well I have tried so many things to help and of course prednisone and remicade work the best for me but I do not currently take prednisone and remicade only helps for a short time.
I have tried some herbal ointment that has helped alot, the ointment I used was actually a hemorrhoid cream at the website: huffmanherbs.moonfruit.com
Also a great thing I use is raw apple cider vinegar after a painful bowel movement, i pour some on a wad of tissue and place it on my rectum and hold it there for a minute (it does sting but I promise it helps it heal, well for me it does) and right after that I have found that taking a wipe with coconut oil on it and wiping with that directly after the vinegar, its soothing and also has natural healing properties. I do this as much as I need.
This may not work for everyone but this really helped me. Good luck!
