So I got all of DS's records for the last year.
Any idea on why the TI would be "flat" in an MRE??
I don't think he drank enough contrast
But just checking here.
 
Hmmmm, not sure about that one.

I well imagine that it could relate to what you are suggesting. The only other thing that I can think of is it being used as a descriptive term in relation to the villi but if this was the case I would think that they would mention the villi somewhere along the way.

Pretty sure the villi are too small to visualize on an MRE.

Can you give us more of the description? Might help clarify things.

Otherwise I would take it at face value - that in some aspect it was flat from the radiologist's perspective. I do not think that automatically means something bad. The radiologist may have just been muttering along doing his/her dictation and "it's flat" kind of just skittered out along with more meaningful stuff.

But I do not know. That's why I wonder if more of the description might help.
