How far does a flexi sigmoidoscopi go ? Like in CM. Is there a certain point it's meant to go to cause i think mine might have been stopped short because i was in alot of pain

I read it was 70cm they go. I felt like mine was going to come out my mouth it took so long and was so painful lol.

mine only went to 50 cm :/ and it was ecruciating when she reached that point. Maybe that's why i've been reffered back to the GI even though it was normal up to there.

I believe 50 is actually average. I think they max out at about 60 but it's uncommon to go that far. It depends on your internal anatomy. Some people have bends or twists slightly sooner and so the doc will stop sooner.

It may be he stopped early due to pain but I wouldn't be too concerned, 50 is pretty good.
