Fluctuating body temps

Does anyone experience fluctuating body temperatures?

Mine goes from like 96.5 to 99.9 and a couple hours later drops back down, then a couple of hours later goes back up, rinse and repeat.

For example, the past hour I've been monitoring it going from 97.6 to 99.5. Now it's hovering around there.

I feel just as crappy when my temp is low as I do when its high(ish) not to mention the feeling as it's changing. I've been experiencing this for about 3 years combined with fatigue.

I was just wondering if this is something that could be related to CD (If I get my firm diagnosis next week)?

Sawyer, I have been running low grade temp nearly every day. My normal is usually 97.6 but most afternoons it is 99.7. I get chills and body aches when it starts going up. I have been wondering if it is connected also. Let me know what your GI thinks.

Yes, mine does that sometimes when I am flaring. I have noticed that my temperature goes down quite often from viruses and sinus infections. It will go up for Crohn's usually, but sometimes it goes down. It drives me crazy when it is like that because I freeze and then roast, but it isn't a hot flash - though I do have those at times, too.

Yep, know what you mean. Perhaps check Thyroid as well? My body temp norm is 96.8; thought I was dyslexic, but no, that is the normal temp.

I get this aswell no one knows what it is although mine started after getting of pred then it settled when i went into remission last year now its doing it again after a flare and pred

My normal temp is usually around 96 too, however for the last three ish months I have had an evening fever of 99~ and massive chills. Feel like I am freezing every evening. A little NyQuil and it breaks 25 minutes later though.
