Has anyone seen this movie? If so, did it change your perspectives on how to approach IBD at all?

From IMDB:

"Let Thy Food Be Thy Medicine, And Thy Medicine Be Thy Food." - Hippocrates That is the message from the founding father of modern medicine echoed in this brave new documentary film brought to you by Producer-Directors James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch. 'Food Matters' is a hard hitting, fast paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billions of dollars of funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ills and every day maladies. Patching up an over-toxic and over-indulgent population with a host of toxic therapies and nutrient sparse foods is definitely not helping the situation. In a personal quest of discovery James & Laurentine together with a film crew and the editorial and production expertise of Enzo Tedeschi have set out on an independent mission to uncover the wholesome truth. The filmmakers have interviewed several world leaders in nutrition and natural healing who claim that not only are we harming our bodies with improper nutrition, but that the right kind of foods, supplements and detoxification can be used to treat chronic illnesses as fatal as terminally diagnosed cancer.

Food Matters seeks to uncover the business of disease and at the same time explore the safe, cheap and effective use of nutrition and supplementation for preventing and often reversing the underlying causative aspects of the illness. With the premise of the film being: access to solid information helps people invariably make better choices for their health. The 'Food Matters' duo have independently funded the film from start to finish in order to remain as unbiased as possible, delivering a clear and concise message to the world. Food Matters.

yes! it inspired me to try large amounts of Vitamin c. I was very unimpressed (no change).
I was unimpressed to with most of it. What funny is I found the people in the movies motivation more suspicious then any drug company. They are all willing to charge people thousands to try and cure but have no proof. They kept saying once I did this with a patient and i think it worked, so it's good. They could have made it sounds more real.

I don't know i never know how to take things like this. Part of me wants to try every cure available, part of me doesn't trust them.

Its about time people understood the importance of proper nutrition and an overal healthy lifestyle. The government has done a great job into brainwashing people when it comes to nutrition. Many ills that people suffer from today are not part of our human design, research on our ancestors shows disease was rare, and its simply down to the food people are spoon fed every day.

There are wrongs that need to be reversed such as the myth of fat being bad, grains being healthy and that drugs are the only way to rid disease.

Has anyone seen this movie?

Yes, I loved the film.

But I have been doing most of it for a few years now for UC with great success, so I did not really learn anything new from it.

Still, nice to have confirmation that I am on the right track.

I like most of the speakers on the film, I have always found Charlotte Gerson to be most inspiring.

And I often refer to the Food Matters website, as it has some good info on superfoods. I discovered wild blue green algae through them and used it to great effect.

I do believe diet has a great importance and is probably the reason we are suffering form larger numbers of chronic illnesses which once never existed. I eat a fully organic diet and don't by any processed food ( well the occasional indulgence) I do notice when I eat processed stufff I feel worse, I think diet should be seen as a prevention rather than cure. startig from birth - breastfeeding, babyled weaning, then healthy diet through life will go a long way to preveenting chronic illnesses in the first place
