Hi all, this is my first post on here!

I was recently told to stay completely away from foods that contain Garlic, Ginger and Chilli. So i'm going to give it a go.

Obviously without these, a food dish will be pretty bland. So i'm looking for any recipes or 'links' that would point me in some sort of direction :)

I'm particularly looking for different things to put on chicken.

Thanks!

btw this emoticon makes my day :poo:

Hiya Sikander
and welcome

Well that's a shame, and probably untrue!
In my opinion garlic and ginger are excellent anti inflammatories. I use them both all the time with no adverse effects, but I do go easy with the chilli. but........everyone is different.
Keep a food journal, introduce these foods little by little and document the effects.
Have a read of this thread too, some good info

The food diary sounds like an excellent idea, if you stick to it. I'm finding that a lot of people with Crohn's also have Celiac disease (including myself) , which is an allergy to Gluten. Gluten is found in just about every bread, or cakes or pies, a substance that is used as a filler and tends to hold things together especially in baked goods. Anyway, whenever I go off my diet and eat foods rich with Gluten, my stomach goes nuts. The result is I have an absorption problem and I loose valuable protein. I'm thinking strongly about the diary thing.
