Is anyone on Lialda that cant afford the meds. I have 24 1.2g tabs of once daily. Sealed in original box. I will gladly ship them to someone in need of them. No cost to you. I hope im not treading on ice with this topic. I just have stockpiles of meds that I no longer take. I would rather see someone who cant afford their meds get them rather than my trash can.

lol, i often thought of doing this as well, i have soooooooooo many meds that i had to stop taking as well. but i dont really think i can send drugs like these overseas

i'll have to check my drug stash then. think i have 3 bottles full of sulfasalazine (200per bottle), and 3 or 4 boxes of mesalazine (about 100 per box). (he he, i stocked up on "freebee's" when i was in hospital

Dont take this thread in that direction please. Im serious about this thread there are people out there that have trouble getting their meds.

I worry about the liability of something like this though, this forum is completely open and all. Not to mention I am not sure on the legallity of it if you got caught, some sort of Rx laws or HIPPA or something. I do find your nobility on the matter great though.

The lounge is at least password protected, that way, if someone is browsing who is NOT a member, they won't join simply to PM you and attain your Lialda. All passwords are granted via the top couple mods here, so in essence, the sale would have to go through them. I find that to be best, maybe start up a thread just for this there, but here, I think it's a grey area.

They aren't class A, B or C drugs as far as I know so I wouldn't think there would be any real issues with the legality. It's more a health & safety aspect.

I have half a bottle of Prednisone 20mg tabs and also about half a bottle of Imuran along with a refill on it if anyone really needs it. I wouldn't feel comfortable with the Imuran but the Prednisone, as long as somebody understands the side effects and dosing instructions, that might be ok.

Also, if you can't afford your meds, talk to your doctor and let them know you can get a hook up. That way you're under medical supervision with them even if they are coming from the Goodwill of Pharmacies?
