Cauliflower and broccoli both cause me quite a lot of gurgling and abdominal pain, but little to no cramping. This happens however I cook them.

look into the FODMAP diet, some fibers from foods can irritate some people. Use the FODMAP diet as a starting point to do an elimination diet, and test the foods one by one to see how you react. Also look into the Specific Carbohyrate diet and read the book breaking the vicious cycle, I've tested these two theories and it showed me which foods could irritate me, just be careful not to follow a too limited diet for example, once a week or once every 2 weeks ill eat food that I cannot tolerate just to get a widely varied diet.

For the most part i always cook my veggies and broccoli spinach are tolerated well. Also not everyone will react to the same foods in the same way. and the more your disease is suppressed by drugs, the more you can tolerate bad foods, but i would recommend ever to get to relaxed with what you eat when you have this disease.
