Hey guys I know crohns and prolonged inflammation in general can cause gallbladder problems.
I'm having pain under my right rib and ander my right shoulder blade and cramps right there as well
Also what test do they do for this tired of being a science experiment

Ultrasound. My symptoms. Gallbladder pain can feel like you have a bruised rib, tender to touch, stomach cramps like you ate something bad. Vomiting will make you feel better but usually it will be bitter and yellow. And yes pain can go to your back. I do not have crohn's but my gallbladder had to be taken out.

A test you can do on your own is eat a REALLY greasy and/or spicy meal and see if you have pain right afterwards.

Pain as you describe it definitely sounds like a gallbladder issue. Ultrasound and CT scan with contrast can detect stones. If no stones are present, a HIDA scan with CCK can be done to check if the gallbladder is functioning properly.

That won't work as I have pain from eating any meal due to my crohns and the pain is the same no matter what I eat

Get an adonimal ultrasound. How they found mine. I went to the ER and ask for one. Was in surgery 2 days later. I was puking out of both ends, foamy green. This was in November. And yes my crohn's triggered this.

It didn't work for me, either, but many physicians tell patients to try this, so thought I would pass it on. My stones showed up on CT scan.

Turns out it was biliousness (trapped gas) as my crohn is in that area they gave me same stuff and said to lay on my side well I never farted out so much pain full mucosy gas phew dodged that bullet I can't workout why I was nautious though maybe from the pain.

I had a CT scan, ultrasound, and HIDA scan. During the HIDA scan, I was injected with some solution that was supposed to cause the gallbladder to contract. It was excruiciatingly painful, which is how the surgeons decided to just remove it. Outside of that pain, all my other tests came back normal. The gallbladder is a tricky lil bugger.

It damages you bile ducts and causes gallstones. In return makes you gallbladder bad. Just had that happen in November. Still in a flare now. Has moved to the ileum.
