Gastroscopy - chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia
Hi guys
Had colonoscopy/Gastroscopy today. All areas good but:
Stomach:
Mild chronic atrophic gastritis with gastric intestinal metaplasia is noted affecting the Antrum. Biopsies taken assessing for dysplasia and helicobacter. There was no evidence of gastric cancer.
Any ideas what this means all the searches I am doing are turning up pre cancer.
Thanks:ybatty::ybatty:
