Dear All -

If there is anyone out there who can recommend a good hospital and/or decent GI dr up in East Yorkshire ( preferably near York or Hull) we would love to hear from you. If anyone has any internet links they think may help with this please let us know.

After 23 years in Los Angeles my partner and I shall be moving back there and although it may take a few months before we make the big move I need to have as much in place regarding Colette and her crohns as possible.

Thanks for any help/info anyone can provide.

Best Wishes

i'm a little confused lol - York isn't in East Yorkshire!

if you're nearer Hull, i would recommend the Hull Royal Infirmary - it's one of the biggest hospitals in the area.

I'm in Leeds, West Yorkshire. My GI's at ST James's hospital which is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Yorkshire. Only seen him 3 times but he has sorted a number of tests for me over the past few months.
Where abouts will you be living?

Thanks for the responses, so my geography may be a little off, we were aiming for York, but looks like we'll be closer to Hull.

Dingbat as for Hull Royal Infirmary, unfortunately it itsn't a good hospital according to many of my friends, and also family. My cousin worked there as an anesthesiologist and said it was awful. My mum was there a couple of weeks ago to see one of her cancer doctors and said it was bad. However if you know of anyone with good experiences we'd be open to explore and re check the hospital out.

Bushydougie thanks for the St.James referral we'll check it out also.

Thanks as always,

The Girls
