I have had IBS for about 20 years and two years ago I got seriously sick and was diagnosed with Crohns, I denied it for the first year and thought I was too old to have it. But since than I have been trying to deal with it and get it under control. So I still feel fairly new to all of this, but it is my life now so I deal with it..happy to have joined all of you

:welcome: Boy you are quick lol. So glad you are here and we know how you feel, there is so much information here and great experiences from many people. I think we all the the denial thing, comes with the territory thing. Dont live it but dont forget it.

What meds are you on now? Any surgery? Hope to see you around the boards!

I too have been in denial in the past. It can be very overwhelming dealing with a chronic illness, but ignoring only makes things worse in the long run. Knowledge is power. :study: Learn as much as you can, and with trial and error, find what works best for you.
The people here are wonderful, very understanding, sympathetic, informative and good for a laugh when you need it most.
Hope you stick around. It's good to be in the company of others who know what you're going through.:ghug:

Hi psn, welcome to the Forum. Its a great site for everyone whether they have had it for years or newly diagnosed. I've had CD for over 24 yrs and when I found CF last year it was like a breathe of freash air. Finally a place to find out that I am as normal as everyone else somewhere. Well, sorta. lol
