I'm waiting for a Colonoscopy with balloon dilation but can feel myself going downhill especially since I went down to one Entocort daily. I have to be careful what I say to my Wife because it makes her extremely upset & it hurts me like hell to see her so badly affected by something that happening to me. Think I might ring the Endoscopy unit to see if there is something in the pipeline because if its going to be about two months I'm not sure this stricture will wait.
Passing a lot of mucus now & some blood, neither my ointments for Fissure's or Piles are working. My bloods are fine, had them done last week.
Just had to sound off really.

Grant, I had some problems tapering off of Entocort as well. When I told my GI, he put me back up to a higher dosage for awhile longer and that really helped. I guess my bowels just weren't ready to taper right away, but the second time I tried to taper, it went much easier. So you might want to call your doctor and see if something like that would be an option. Good luck, I hope you get some relief soon.
