Going from Canasa to Apriso

I have been using canasa for the past 4 yrs off and on and now the doc put me on Apriso. The only thing I remember him saying was "mild" when he walked in after my short colonoscopy last week. I'm thinking that the ulcerative protitis has gotten worse and now is ulcerative colitis. At least thats what the medicine is for. I go back in 2 weeks to ask fully about it. So far the cramping is worse than before. I guess what I am asking is if he switched the meds does that mean that it has gotten worse?

Looks like they're a lot a like. However, canasa is rectal and apriso is oral. Here's the website I used that might help to compare the two. Hope this helps.
