I used to be active here many years ago (2010-2012 I think) but as my Crohn’s got under control, I got married and had kids, I drifted away.

in the meantime I’ve been diagnosed with MS and started Tysabri for that, chosen because it’s good for Crohn’s as well as MS.

Anyway, I got Covid about 7-8 weeks ago, was given Paxlovid, missed a Tysabri injection and now I’m having a Crohn’s flare. I have a consultant appointment on Monday anyway, so I’m hoping to tough it out till then, I doubt they could see me sooner.

No real point to this post except I’m feeling sorry for myself and wanted to speak to people who ‘get it’!

Hugs to you and so sorry you were diagnosed with MS as well as dealing with Crohn's. Feel free to express whatever you want on this forum. That's what it's for. I hope your Crohn's flare resolves soon.

I joined a couple years later but have wandered back for some of the same reasons, I'm on the assessment train at the moment (bloods, MRI, scopes) to hopefully get a handle on it as well. I hope that your appointments go well and they give you some speedy answers

Rebecca, this is a couple of months late but I remember you from those years and I was also active back then, drifted, now checking in again on the boards. I’m sorry to learn of your MS diagnosis and now Crohn’s flare-up; it must get to be a LOT. Take good care!
