H. pylori...

So my blood work came back positive for H. pylori and I now have to have my stomach scoped on Monday.

Meh.

Here's hoping that I am not suffering from stomach ulcers also...

nastey - sorry to hear that. ive had a couple of stomach ulcers in the past few years and ive never experienced pain like it - thought my insides had exploded and i was a goner?!

hope you get it sorted. can remember what medication i was on when i tested positive for h-phlori but it worked straight away and the pain went - woo hoo!

Hi Steven. My aunt just went through her h. pylori experience. She'd been sick for over a year (avoided docs). She finally caved in, they put her on antibiotics, and she's feeling so much better now, like her old self.

Hopefully you'll be feeling better quickly.

At least H pylori relatively easy to treat...1 week course of 3 meds and that should sort it.

if your taking NSAID (or how ever the initials go), can cause ulcers. they are surprisingly easy to to treat, take heart.
