had my colonoscopy today
The dr talked to hubby after, so I'm not 100% sure what was said. He did say there was no inflammation, but he did remove some things for biopsy. I'm going to assume polyps. I had one removed during a previous colonscopy just over a year ago. He put me on amytriptyline(sp?) in the meantime. Biopsy results should be back next Friday or the following Monday. I'm not optimistic at the moment. I was having issues yesterday before I started the prep, so whatever is bothering me was definitely active then. If he didn't see anything maybe it really is just ibs. Right now I'm not sure I want to keep going on with all these tests to find out they were all normal. If the biopsies come back normal I think I'm going to hold off on anything else for a while. It's more depressing being told everything is normal than it is to not know.
