Well that's my boy been through his surgery. All went to plan. Totally shattered and he's been sleeping most of time since came back from theatre. So glad that today is over xx
 
So glad it's over and it all went well. Hope his recovery goes smoothly:hug:.

He doing well. Off morphine now and iv fluids. Been allowed to eat today too. His surgeon said if he poos he can go home tomorrow but will wait and see. He been very tearful today too, bless him. But so far so good xx
 
Yay he poo'd but his white cell count up so maybe not home tomorrow after all. Back on antibiotics tonight for him but got to be done. He be even more teary now when they say he won't be allowed home xx

Not sure if there'a an equivalent of Child Life specialists in the UK? They really helped when my daughter was in the hospital.
 
Sending hugs to ur lil man, hope he is better soon.. nothings worse than seeing ur child sick.. hope the new year bring health & happiness 4 u both.. x

Hospital sucks at any time but this time of year just makes it doubly so. :(

Poor boy! Hope the White cell count comes down so you can go home soon. Not fun being stuck in.
