Hope everyone can enjoy some happy healthy family time regardless of what you celebrate. We'll be doing both as hubby's step-dad is Jewish. We will be doing an Easter/Birthday dinner for my younger son since we will all be together anyway. Sheesh!! I'll have two teenage boys in the house. :eek2:

Easter is a 4 day weekend in Oz, is like that elsewhere?
I am On Call so will be hanging around home but hey, 4 days off is 4 days off! :dusty:

Unfortunately no I will be working Friday and Monday as will most everyone else. Jack is off school but then he goes to a catholic school, but my younger son in public school will be at school. Wishing I had the time off to enjoy some warm weather that is finally starting.

YES! Happy Easter & Passover to all of you! Since LJ isn't in any condition to travel (3hours to the in-laws) Easter will be at our house. Put 13 people in my house for 2 days straight, mixing in a sister-in-law that is mad at her brother, & a few bottles of wine...the entertainment value will be through the roof! Come Monday I will have LOTS of stories! LOL!

Four Days work this week, Friday is Good Friday public holiday.
Three Days work next week, Monday is a public holiday and Friday is a public holiday for ANZAC Day.

Young two girls go back to school on Tuesday after two weeks holiday for end of term.

Sarah's univ break begins on Friday and she has a week off.

Husband is working Saturday and probably on the Monday Public Holiday.

Don't know whether I'm coming or going.

Easter is a 4 day weekend in Oz, is like that elsewhere?

Happy Easter and Passover.

Here in Canada it's a 3 day weekend for some and 4 day weekend for others.

Good Friday is a Statutory (Public / Proclaimed) Holiday so everything is closed including stores and government offices. Easter Monday is a holiday for some as government offices are closed so those of us in the Public Sector get an extra day - other establishments such as banks and stores are open.

Happy night before Easter.

I feel quite accomplish this evening.

I bought two kids Easter outfits.

Made 4 dozen deviled eggs.
5 pounds of honey barbeque chicken wings
One birthday cake

Hemmed up my son's dress pants
Put curlers in Grace's hair

Plus four loads of laundry and minimal cleaning of the house.

All this in one day just so I can spend a couple hours at Easter church service and potluck, than to say good bye to family and send them on their way.........
