hard time to get humira for 10 weeks ahead anyone

can anyone tell me what to do. my daughter on Humira, we are flying for 10 weeks out of country and now the insurance/ pharmacy said they can not dispense more then 1 month supply. I dont know what to do. seems ridiculous. three people said ok 3 months supply, 2 people no. doctor assistent keeps calling but no luck to resolve this. I called my daughter insurance and pharmacy and they told me to tell doctor to send script for 3 month supply, when her assistant called she was told they can not dispense more then 1 month of medication. So flustruating, but also stressing out what to do.

Ask if your doctor has some on hand in his/her office. Sometimes drug companies give docs promotional free samples of drugs to dispense themselves as they see fit. And sometimes docs will use these samples to tide their patients over supply problem periods.

good idea, but doubt she gives me 6 syringes. I wonder what other people do when they travel. i cant be only one going abroad for more then month

I thought "vacation override" would get you 3-6 months supply. This is interesting.

I think it depends on the insurance
Ours would only give one month at time regardless for humira
Others I know get three months of biologics no problem
Different insurances different rules

just called Fedex and they said is prohibited to ship medication

called second time and the regular 1-3 day delivery for small box $500 that is insane

anyone has idea if I can remove humira syringes from packaging? I have to fly with 5-6 pieces and is hard to fit them all in cooling bag.
