Hard time

I'm not expecting any responses....I just feel like crap. My boyfriend's in Calgary, and I'm here in Barrie and we're having a hard time keeping it together. I'm wondering if I can last till he comes home in the middle of August.

Hang in there Cindy, one day at a time. Try to do something to spoil yourself, whatever that is.....good movie, book, bubble bath, spa day, etc....you get the idea. Each day will get a little easier and you've got us. I know it's no where near the same thing, but we can at least keep you company. :hang:

Hey Cindy, I know you are having a rough time. Been there done that but not near as long as the time you guys spend time apart. It takes a special relationship that can be in long distance ones. My hubby is 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out. It is hard on everyone. In the beginning it was hard for me but since I was always independent I learned to be resourceful. However, even in my husband's company, they do a background of your family life and if it is unstable you may not get hired.

It has been 10 years now and I do go through times and wonder what if. But what YOU have to decide is, will you be able to live your life without him? As my motto is , the grass is only greener over the septic tank! Hang in there, tell him how you feel, you both are a very nice couple, hate to see that doubted. Hugs, hope you hang in there!

Cindy - Hang in there! I know it it likely extra hard as you are dealing with your stepkids being home from school and I know only too well the struggle that being a stepmom can sometimes be. This too shall pass.

aww, sorry to hear you're finding things a struggle right now hun... until he gets back, you'll just have to make do with us and our hugs :hug:

i remember when my guy and me first decided we wanted to live together, and he had to go back to his hometown for about a month to work his notice and get things sorted... i pined like the biggest baby, sobbed my heart out when he left to go back - & my telephone bill was massive that month lol. but it soon passes, and just think of the making up for lost time you can do when he gets back
